- Solicitation AG-82FT-S-07-007 is for the Rocky Mountain Research Station. The Government Furnished Property (GFP) is a diesel, 26,000 lbs GVWR, cutaway chassis and power unit. The contractor will equip the GFP, chassis, with a custom 20? body containing storage cabinets, work stations and additional equipment as specified herein. The GVWR of the vehicle minus its curb weight shall leave a payload capacity of at least 8,000 lbs. The vehicle is to be used as an instrument van at the Forest Service?s Fire Sciences Lab, Fire Chemistry Unit in Missoula, MT. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process.
