- This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is seeking to identify possible sources that can supply Product Classification (PSC) Code 42, Fire Fighting, Rescue & Safety Equipment NSN?s. These items primarily consist of FSC 4210 which include fire extinguishers, extinguisher components, fire fighting apparel, fire hoses, and various other fire and emergency equipment items. DSCP is investigating the possibility of a solicitation or solicitations for the referenced items under a long-term indefinite quantity type contract(s). The contract base period may be for a term of one year or two years. Further, it may contain an option or options to extend the term of the contract. Pricing may be provided up front for the contract and option periods or may be linked to a Producer Price Index which would be adjusted annually. The NSN item list may be broken up into more than one procurement, if appropriate. Support of all items may be based on Customer Direct deliveries, where material could be supplied to any location within the Continental United States.
