Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, administration and management necessary to perform all work required to repair/replace HVAC System, Low Bay, Bldg. 640 (Project 990615B); repair/replace lights/ceiling, Low Bay, Bldg. 640 (Project 880159); repair/replace roof, Low Bay, Bldg. 640 (Project 020108); repair interior, Bldg. 628 (Project 020123); repair interior, Bldg. 642 (Project 020124); and install equipment, Bldg. 640 (Project 020330B) at Robins AFB GA. This acquisition is unrestricted and the NAICS code for this acquisition is 236210 with a size standard of $28.5M. It is our intent to award a firm-fixed price contract. Contract award will be based on best value, using performance-price trade-off procedures. The magnitude of this construction project is over $10M. The period of performance will be 1105 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The official copy of the solicitation will not be provided on compact disk (CD-ROM) or paper. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. To be eligible for contract award, prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/ . Contractor must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 15 May 2006, with an estimated 45-calendar day response period.
