- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Data Systems & Solutions, Reston, Virginia for labor services, spares, and planned maintenance for the JETScan Oil Debris Analysis System. This effort shall include 24-hour customer service support, remote-access troubleshooting expertise and on-site maintenance support when required. This maintenance support will cover a period of up to five (5) years. The required procurement is in support of the AV-8B Harrier II Program. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
