- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood Colorado is requesting quotes from qualified and eligible firms cable of providing prescription writing services for various drugs used y the Grizzly Bear Recovery Office in the capture and handling of bears, located at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Montana Ecological Services, Helena, MT. This will be advertised under Federal Acquisiton Regulations Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and will be solicited under Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13 - Simiplified Acquisiton Procedures (SAP). Quotes will be due February 28, 2007. The work will consist of providing employee training in grizzly bear anesthetizing and handling procedures. The contractor will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week during field operations to address any issues related to the anesthetization of wild animals. The estimated start work date is March 1, 2007. The contract time is one calendar year. The Government has the option to renew the contract for 4 additional one-year options. The solicitation will be available approximately February 1, 2007. The Copies of the Request for Quote can be obtained through Government Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fbo.gov). Companies accessing the RFQ through GPE are to submit their quote through GPE. Parties that are unable to access the GPE may request a copy of the RFQ by faxing a request for the RFQ to 303-236-4791, Attention Cathleen DeBerry. Please include the RFQ number, company name, address, telephone number, contact name, phone number and fax number on your request. Note: Quotes from firms that are not listed as an "active" vendor on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website by closing date of the RFQ, will not be considered.
