Description
Subject: Park Attendant Services at Melvern Lake Project Office, Melvern, Kansas. This solicitation contains a base period plus two option periods. Park Attendant Services at Melvern Lake Project Office, Melvern, Kansas has a requirement for Park Attendant Services at Melvern Lake Project, Melvern, Kansas. This procurement is BEST VALUE, Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Commercial Item/Services and is totally set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation contains a base period plus two option periods. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equip ment, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide Park Attendant Services for the U. S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Melvern Lake Project, as described in the performance of work statement. This solicitation contains a base period plu s two option periods. The base year period of performance runs from 01 April 2007 to 30 September 2007. Park Attendant Services for October 2007 is a separate line item, since payment will be made from FY-08 funds. The period of performance for Option period 1 runs from 01 April 2008 to 30 September 2008. Park Attendant Services for October 2008 is a separate line item, since payment will be made from FY-09 funds. The period of performance for Option period 2 runs f rom 01 April 2009 to 30 September 2009. Park Attendant Services for October 2009 is a separate line item, since payment will be made from FY-10 funds. The government will award a contract from this request for quotes to the responsible offeror, whose offer, conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government considering price, experience and past performance. For evaluation purpos es price, experience and past performance will all be weighted the same. The standard industrial code is 7033. The NAICS code is 721211. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. The Solicitation package shall be available on or about January 19, 2005. OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Prior to quoting, vendors must complete online the Representations and Certifications. To do so requires CCR Registration, including an MPIN number. Instructions may be obtained, and required information may be e ntered, at http://orca.bpn.gov. One must register on the Kansas City District web site in order to receive any quotations. By visiting the following web site, you may download the solicitation. The web address is https://acquisition.army.mil. Bids are due January 31, 2007 no later than 12:00 pm (central standard time). REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number. Registration instruc tions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any co ntract resulting from the solicitation. Refer to CCR clause (either 252.204-7004 or 52.204-7) Also, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website at https:/www.bpn.go v/ocra/vendor as a prerequisite to receiving solicitation, to update the representations and certifications as necessary, but a least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete, and to make changes that affect only one soli citation by completin g the appropriate sections of either paragraph (j) of FAR provision 52.212-3 or FAR provision 52.204-8, whichever is included in the solicitation.
