- The 77 Aeronautical Systems Group, Contracting Division (77 AESG/PSK) has issued subject solicitation for the RADIO SET, PRC 90-2, Appl: Multi-Acft. National Stock Number (NSN) 5820-01-238-6603, Part Number P3-14-0059. Size/Dimensions: Approximately 1 inch X 8 inches X 3 inches. Unpackaged unit weight is 1.600 pounds. Predominant Material: Electronics. Function: Survival Radio. This PRC 90-2 radio provides an emergency beacon tone transmission at 243.0 MHZ, a keyed tone modulating continuous wave 243.0 MHZ and 282.8 MHZ. This PRC 90-2 radio is designed to operate with a battery. Emission type is A9 receiving and A9 transmitting. Maximum power dissipation rating is 500.0 milliwatts. DC voltage rating is 9.5 volts minimum and 14.0 volts maximum. NOTE: Relative NAICS code is 334220. Full and open competition between two qualified sources a small and large business. The purpose of the solicitation will be to award a single three-year, firm fixed price requirements type contract, to include a (1) one-year priced option period. Total BEQ is 2,164.
