- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation (paper copy) will not be issued. Further, offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Solicitation FA8751-07-Q-0138 is issued as a REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. This procurement is being issued as total small business set-aside under NAICS code 238210 and small business size standard $13,000,000.00. The contractor shall provide the following items on a firm fixed price basis: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, personnel and labor necessary on site to perform work orders, provided by the Contracting Officer's representative, for maintenance and repair of electrical systems within the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate (AFRL/IF) at the Rome Research Site (RRS), Rome, New York in accordance with the attached Statement of Work dated 17 January 2007. The period of performance is 7 February 2007 through 30 March 2007. The place of delivery, acceptance and FOB destination point is AFRL/IF, Rome, NY. Quotes are due at or before 5 PM, 2 February 2007. Pleased use attached bid schedule in submitting your quotes. Email quotes to Janet.sheehan@rl.af.mil. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures resulting from this solicitation to the responsible and capable offeror based on price alone.
