Description
The Air Armament Center (AAC) is hosting an Integrated Assessment Tools Forum for interested defense contractors. This forum is scheduled for 06 March 2007, 8:00am to 5:00pm at Eglin AFB, FL. The meeting will be held at the Eglin AFB Conference Center. Industry participants will be offered brief (30 minute) one-on-one meetings scheduled for 07-08 Mar 2007, 8:00am-5:00pm. No specific program information will be discussed in either the open forum or the one on one session. The forum includes briefings on the AAC Balanced Scorecard Metrics and Targets, the Integrated Approach to High Confidence Programs, Sufficiency Reviews, Probability of Program Success (PoPS tool), Changes in Cost Estimating, Revitalizing Systems Engineering, Technology Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, Expectation Management Agreements, Changes in Source Selections, Concept Readiness for POM Builds. In an effort to maximize the number of industry participants and due to space limitations at the facility, the number of representatives from each company will be limited to four. Parties wishing to attend must RSVP by 26 Feb 2007. This forum will provide your company the opportunity to hear and understand the AAC integrated assessment tools used for assessing program performance, establishing program baselines, evaluating program risk, determining technology and manufacturing readiness, and assessing the application of systems engineering processes. The forum will enable your company to understand the tools coupled with associated benefits and challenges of these assessments. The forum is planned to be recorded. Beginning 30 Mar 2007 you may request a copy of the recorded session by contacting Dyncorp at (850) 882-4352. When requesting a copy, specify that you are requesting a copy of the Integrated Assessment Tools Forum conducted on 6 Mar 2007. There will be a nominal charge of approximately $12 for each copy of each video tape recorded (each tape is 120 minutes long). Dyncorp accepts credit cards (visa, master card) as well as personal checks. Requests for attendance at this forum must be accomplished by 26 Feb 2007.
