- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a set-aside for small business only. All specifications listed below must be met in order to be considered. The NAICS Code is 333314, Size Standard not to exceed 500. Solicitation/Purchase Requisition number F2KBAD6355A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15 effective 22 Nov 2006. The Government intends to award the following CLIN 0001 Optical Isolator IO-J-1064 32 EA Operating wavelength: 1064-NM; Isolation @1064NM:32-38-dB; Insertation Loss: 0.6-1.3-dB; Return loss at input/output interface: 50-dB; Extinction from output fiber slow axis: 20-dB; Power handling limited by fiber: 3W/cw; Fiber: 1M length, Corning/Fujikura PM 980/400 Panda, 6.6/125/400UM acrylite in hytel loose tube DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: March 30 2007, or 60 days after award. FOB: Destination. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of specifications being met and price.
