- The VA Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN6) Central Acquisition Service intends to procure sole source with Datex -Ohmeda, Inc, 3030 Ohmeda Drive, Madison, WI 53707 for all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform quarterly preventive maintenance on S/5 CAIO and Aestiva /5 anesthesia machines and all components including ventilators, vaporizers, and gas monitors located at the VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement with a business size standard of $6.5 Million. The proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Written inquiries regarding this notice may be sent via email or fax to the attention of the Contracting Officer at (910) 482-5226 no later than 2:00 PM EST January 25, 2007. The anticipated date of award is January 26, 2007 and will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitation will be made available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
