- THIS ACTION WILL BE ADVERTISED AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. PROJECT DETAILS: This project will consist of 0.09 miles of bridge replacement and roadway approaches on Utah Forest Highway 46 in Manti-LaSal National Forest, Grand and San Juan Counties, Utah. The estimated price range for this project is $500,000 and $1,000,000. Principal work items on the project include: lump sum survey and staking for bridge and retaining wall; lump sum contractor testing; lump sum removal of bridge; 140 sq ft reinforced concrete retaining wall, 8 feet; 545 tons hot asphalt concrete pavement, Grading E; 210 cubic yards of structural concrete, Class A; 48,000 pounds reinforcing steel, epoxy coated; 153 linear feet of bridge railing, concrete, beam rail; 12 cubic yards of concrete; 480 hours of temporary traffic control, flagger; along with associated erosion control, removal of signs, guardrail, pipe culvert, and MSE walls, structural excavation and backfill, and equipment. Tentative advertisement date is January 26, 2007.
