- The U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Eastman Kodak to upgrade one Scitex ink jet system by upgrading three components of the system; controller, data station and stacker controller. The basis of the proposed non competitive action is that Eastman Kodak is the only known supplier of technology and system support that uses their proprietory print control language. The intent of this synopsis is for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation will be issued.
