- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote, solicitation number SB3100-6326-3082. The Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin (DDJC), located in Tracy, California, has a requirement for four (4) Kyocera FS-C8026N-A Brand Name or Equal color printers. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 334119, and the associated small business size standard is 1000 employees. CLIN 0001, FS-C8026N-A Kyocera brand name or equal color printers, quantity four (4) each. Offerors shall provide the unit price for each printer and total amount, inclusive of shipping costs (FOB Destination). Equipment shall be shipped to the Supply Branch, M/F Warehouse 3-1, SB3200, Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin, 25600 S. Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95304. The Government requires delivery within 30 days after date of order. The minimum item characteristics if proposing an "or equal" printer are as follows: Media Size: Letter size 8.5 x 11; Legal size 8.5 x 14; 11 x 17 in Color Network Printer with Standard Duplex, 150 Sheet Multi-Purpose Tray Printer Memory: 512MB or more Processor Speed: 600MHz Print Quality: Black - 600 x 600dpi Print Quality: Color - 600 x 600dpi 150 Sheet MPT plus 3 Paper Trays Paper Input Capacity: 1,650 sheet minimum Print Speed: B & W up to 26 ppm Print Speed: Color up to 26 ppm Monthly Volume: up to 100,000 pages Print Technology: Laser Paper Output Capacity: up to 200 sheets Print Languages: PCL 6, PCL5c, Postscript Level 3 emulation, direct PDF printing v, 1.4 (with at least 256MB printer memory) Connectivity: Ethernet Jet Direct 620n fast ethernet internal print server or newer Windows OS Compatibility: Windows 2000/XP Input Materials: Bond paper, recycled paper, transparencies, labels, cardstock, postcards, envelopes If the offeror is not proposing Kyocera FS-C8026N-A color printers, then they must submit technical data about the printer to demonstrate the item offered meets the Government's requirements. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. Offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS with the price quote or may complete the representations and certifications on the internet at http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to include the certifications along with a quote will render an offeror ineligible for award. Evaluation for award shall be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this notice on an all or none basis to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest price which meets product and delivery requirements. Contractors must be capable of accepting electronic fund payment for this procurement.
