- Description
- The Office of Medical Services requires a hosted web-based travel medicine resource that provides real time capability to develop itinerary based immunization requirements, itinerary based chemoprophylaxis measures, individualized comprehensive travel reports, country specific and area within the country specific information. The online travel medicine resource will include medical reference material and the ability to develop specific reports for both the medical professional and the traveler. The web portal will facilitate the sharing of information from many different sources, including multinational corporations, federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other agencies that identify and rate medical facilities located overseas, warn of emerging hazards in various locations, and provide additional information currently unavailable from other travel medicine resources. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with a base year and four one-year options to extend.
