- The United States Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for architectural and structural improvements to an exisiting structure located at the James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC), Laurel, Maryland. The USSS intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 238190. Interested, qualified parties are invited to respond to this Presolicitation Notice. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE NOTE: AN SITE-VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2006 between 1:30pm - 3:30pm EST. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST FORWARD AN EMAIL TO PATRICIA.KIELY@USSS.DHS.GOV TO OBTAIN AND COMPLETE THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK TO ATTEND THE ON-SITE. ALL INTERESTED VENDORS MUST CONTACT BY NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2006 AND ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE RETURNED BY NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2006 IN ORDER TO BE PROCESSED IN TIME TO ATTEND THE ON-SITE. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The USSS anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site, FedBizOpps.gov, on or about December 6, 2006. The solicitation will contain the details of the requirement, instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated.
