Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to add issue a Time and Material delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0008 to Raytheon Technical Services Company to provide services, products, spares, repair parts and support for ancillary equipment on various aircraft platforms for the U. S. Navy and various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The Contractor shall furnish supplies/services for U.S. Navy and FMS customers for engineering studies and investigations, software development, logistics studies, Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS), ground tests, training, support/development, upgrades to ancillary equipment and support equipment, special tooling and test equipment; the design, fabrication, assembly and testing of prototypes or models to support engineering studies, analyses or engineering change proposals (ECPs); technical support for Navy testing, weapon/aircraft integration design and support; the manufacture, assembly, installation and test of breadboards and/or prototypes; and weapon/GFE repair to include the furnishing of materials and services necessary to repair, inspect, modify, and/or return to ready-for-use condition items of government property. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: RTSC is the successor through privatization to NAWC Indianapolis facility which served as NAVAIR?s engineering and technical field activity. As a result RTSC has the unique technical knowledge, facilities, tooling and special test equipment to perform the integrated functional capabilities previously provided by NAWC. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
