- I1700070607. This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about January 23, 2007. A PAPER SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Telephone, fax, or email requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The work of this contract includes renovation of a men's, a women's, and two staff member's private baths and the renovation of the downstairs public restroom into a full ADA accessible bath at the Jordan Pond Dormitory in Acadia National Park, Seal Harbor, Maine. The renovation will consist of: removal and replacement of all fixtures and finishes to include wall sheathing, ceilings, floor coverings, electrical and plumbing fixtures, bathroom accessories, and partitions; floor plans will be altered to reduce showers in main baths and add private dressing areas; a storage room will be converted to an ADA compliant bathroom to include the addition of a roll in shower and the existing bath will be converted to a storage area. Work is to be completed between March 1 , 2007 and April 15, 2007. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This solicitation is set aside for HubZone businesses. Estimated price is between $100,000 and $250,000. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 10:00 am. Snow date will be Thursday, February 8, 2007. Location for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation package. Hard copy bid documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic bid documents will be accepted). Bids must be received at Acadia National Park, P. O. Box 177, Route 233, McFarland Hill, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609 by 3:00 PM on February 23, 2007 local prevailing time. A complete bid package shall include three (3) copies of completed SF 1442, Solicitation, Offer, and Award, all with original signatures; three (3) copies of bid schedule; one completed section K, Representations and Certifications and one SF 24, Bid Bond. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors included in the solicitation.
