Description
Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14. The Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 484210 and a size standard of $23,500,000. The proposed purchase listed is a 100% small business set-aside. NONPERSONAL SERVICE PURCHASE: TO REMOVE ALL EXSISTING DORM FURNITURE IN ALL 68 ROOMS OF BUILDING 230 TO INCLUDE 4 DAYROOMS AND ALL STORAGE AREAS. ALL BEDS AND SALVAGABLE FURNITURE SHALL BE TRANSPORTED TO BLDG 1336. ALL UNSALVAGABLE ITEMS SHALL BE LOADED AND TRANSFERRED TO STORAGE AREA ON CONTRACTOR SUPPLIED TRAILERS. A site visit is set up on the 12th of January 2007 for 1300hrs. Please contact either SrA Martin Wallace or MSgt John Lower If you are interested in attending the Site Visit. Please notify us of your interest in the site visit by 1200hrs 11 January 2007. Questions that were brought during the solicitation period. 1. How many rooms will furniture go into at bldg 1336? The only items we are keeping are the day room furniture and about 20 refrigerators. All the rest of the items will go to Bldg. 1336 and another bldg on base, yet to be determined for collection by DRMO at a later date. 2. Will beds have to be broken down/taking apart before transport? Yes and the mattress will be loaded to large dumpsters by Bldg 230. 3. Will salvageable furniture transported to Bldg 1336 need to unloaded, and further will furniture need to be placed in dorm rooms? Yes, these items will need to be unloaded at Bldg. 1336. However, it will not need to be placed in any dorm rooms. 4. Will beds need to be set-up in Bldg 1336? No, just unload and stacked neatly. 5. Will DRMO supplied trailers be on-site at Bldg 230? DRMO will not be able to supply enough trailers to support this requirement. Contractor will have to supply the pallets and will have to transport all the DRMO items from Dorm 230 to Bldg. 1336 another bldg (yet to be determined) on base and off loaded on to the supplied pallets. Wage Determination No.: 2005-2587(Rev 1) Dated 09/20/2006 hereby applies. The provision 52.212-1Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items Items applies to this acquisition. The provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items-applies to this acquisition.
