Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. The United States Secret Service (USSS) and other Government Agencies have a requirement for home relocation services. This is an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS code is 531390 and the small business size standard is $2.0 million. The contractor shall provide the following services: Brokers value offer; guaranteed home sale; assigned sale; amended value sale; amended from zero; closing only; home marketing assistance only; property management; and household goods move management. Services are required within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (?CONUS?), with the exception of household goods move management, which will be required CONUS and other than CONUS (?OCONUS?). The contract period of performance will be on or about March 1, 2007 through September 30, 2011 for a 7 month base period, with four (4) twelve month option periods. Annually, the USSS expects the relocation of approximately (500) employees. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price indefinite delivery ? performance based type contract, to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the Solicitation, will represent the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. Telephone requests for copies of the solicitation WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The solicitation will close Friday, February 23rd, 2007. All written proposals are to be received no later than 5:00 P.M. (EST), Friday, February 23rd, 2007.
