Description
The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type contract with Corporate Executive Board in accordance with FAR Part 6. Multiple awards are not being sought. The following items are to be procured : The Corporate Executive Board provides best practices research and executive education to a membership of the world?s leading organizations and not-for-profit institutions. Its research addresses issues related to corporate strategy, operations and general management, and it focuses on identifying management initiatives, processes, tools, and frameworks that will allow its clients to avoid reinventing the wheel in addressing problems they share in common with their peers. At its best, its work is able to shape strategic debate and to accelerate tactical implementation in even the most progressive organizations. Description of the item or service. Service Required: membership in the ?CIO Executive Board? which includes: Unlimited access to proprietary ?CIO Executive Board? strategic research designated by the member executives; An Annual Executive Retreat offering a unique opportunity for the senior-most IT Executive (CIO) to interact with the Council principals and for the Council to disseminate key insights from its proprietary ?CIO Executive Board? strategy research; A series of regionally-based Staff Briefings presenting results of proprietary ?CIO Executive Board? strategy research Assignment of short-answer custom research projects to Board staff without additional fees; Access to custom project library of proprietary ?CIO Executive Board? research pieces completed for other members; Unlimited, unrestricted access to the password-protected ?CIO Executive Board? web site (www.cio.executiveboard.com), which contains archived research, online networking tools, decision-support tools and exportable graphics from our studies, slides and speech handouts. Access to ?CIO Executive Board? Diagnostics, Benchmarks, Implementation tool centers and resource centers The CIO Executive Board?s strategic research agenda is set only by its membership, which consists of Senior IT Executives from the world?s most progressive organizations. The minimum requirement of the Board is to provide access to its research staff to discuss organization-specific application of research findings, and to facilitate executive interaction within the unique membership of the Board. The minimum requirement of the Council is to provide access to its research staff to discuss organization-specific application of research findings, and to facilitate executive interaction within the unique membership of the Council. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this Notice must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide equal service. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
