- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services Division (WS), is seeking a contractor to provide armed guard services for their Pocatello, ID facility. The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, qualified guard force personnel, materials, and equipment, to include weapons, transportation and cellular phone necessary to provide armed guard services in accordance with the requirements specified in the solicitation. A firm fixed price commercial services contract is anticipated for these services. The effective period of the contract shall be on or about February 5, 2007, or date of award, whichever is later. The contract will include a base year with the option to extend the contract for an additional four (4) years. The solicitation, AG-6395-S-07-0014, will be released at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about January 11, 2007. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERER?S REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFERER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR AMENDMENTS. Proposals shall be submitted to the contracting activity by the date and time indicated in the invitation for proposal. All proposals shall have the solicitation number placed on the front of the proposal envelope.
