Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. Information submitted in response to this synopsis is for market research purposes only. At this time proposals are not being requested and will not be accepted. Information received will be used to determine the availability of technically capable and otherwise responsible small business firms that would be interested in submitting offers for this anticipated acquisition. This includes firms that are certified as HUBZone small business concerns and/or small disadvantaged business concerns under the 8(a) program in addition to service disabled veteran owned small businesses and other small business concerns. Additional information related to small business programs can be found at: http://www.sba.gov/index.html. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), Northeast & Caribbean Region (Region 2), Project Management Division anticipates issuing a solicitation that will result in a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract to General Construction Contractors with design-build experience. The requirements contained within this anticipated contract will be for a broad range of construction services in Government owned and leased buildings, which are located in New York and Northern New Jersey. Specific services will be obtained on an individual task order basis. The anticipated term of each contract awarded under this acquisition will be up to five (5) years. The annual estimated dollar amount of each contract awarded under this acquisition is $1 Million to $5 Million per year. The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation for this acquisition during the first part of the 2007 calendar year. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is average annual sales and receipts for the past three years that are less than $31 Million. Please submit a qualification statement if you believe your firm has the past experience, the required technical capabilities, the ability to obtain the required financial protection against losses and the successful past performance to perform the type of work that will be required under this anticipated acquisition. Information submitted in response to this sources sought announcement should include the firm's name and address; contact information that includes name telephone phone number, and email address, A brief written description that demonstrates the firm's capabilities as General Contractor with a broad range of design-build experience; Business related references; Offerors business size and classification (Other than Small Business, HUBzone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, or 8(a)); Information demonstrating the firm's ability to obtain bonding up to $10 Million.
