- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the full cafeteria services for the United States Armed Forces Reserve Complex located in Grand Prairie, Texas. The contractor shall be required to manage and operate full service cafeteria services, including all food, personnel, management supervision, materials, supplies, and any other materials needed to successfully operate. The Government will be suppling the facilities, equipment, and utilities to the contractor. As a result, the contractor shall provide full food services to the Government at no charge. Profits for the contractor will be derived from the operation of the facility. The contractor shall serve breakfast/lunch/dinner Monday through Friday and brunch/dinner on Saturday and Sunday. The staffing complement of the base is approximately 650. The contract period shall consist of a base period from effective Date of Award through 12 months from effective Date of Award, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 722310. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 30, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
