- The specified repairs will encompass the following areas and explicit details will follow in the solicitation. The government will be responsible for the delivery of the vessel from West Point, NY to the contractors facility, and upon completion of the repair work, the Government will return the vessel to West Point, NY. The repairs shall follow along the guidelines listed below. 0001 Dry docking and refloating 0002 Ultrasonic testing 0003 Sea Chest and Strainer Plate 0004 Sea Chest Suction Valve Replacement 0005 Recondition propellers 0006 Propeller Shafts 0007 Propeller shaft bearings 0008 Rudder repairs 0009 Packing glands 0010 Anode protection 0011 Hull plate replacement 0012 Structural repairs 0013 Welding repairs 0014 Fuel tank cleaning 0015 Fuel tank valve replacement 0016 Engine exhaust system inspection and repairs 0017 Cleaning and painting of void compartments 0018 Cleaning and painting of underwater hull surfaces 0019 Cleaning and painting of above waterline hull surfaces 0020 Cleaning and painting of hull surfaces above the rub rail 0021 Cleaning and painting of the upper deck 0022 Fathometer transducer installation 0023 Steering system repairs 0024 Side hatch repairs Note& A Site visit will be scheduled and details of this visit will be provided in the solicitation.
