(478) 222-1484 or fax at (478) 926-3590 e-mail at andrew.miller@robins.af.mil REQUEST FOR QUOTE - 3(EA)5K GASOLINE POWERED FORKLIFT RENTAL DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATIONNOTIFICATION; THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING CONDUCTED UNDER SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. PROPOSALS ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 11 JAN 06 @ 2:00 P.M. EST. All qualified sources interested in this requirement should submit proposals to the above point of contact. Provide lease/rental of three (3) industrial forklifts with the following essential characteristics: 1. Gasoline powered 2. Late model to 2-years old, government reserves the right to reject any lift due to poor equipment condition. 3. 5K or 6K lifting capacity to a height of 10 foot. 4. 48-inch forks 5. Semi-pneumatic tires or warehouse tires acceptable. 6. Contractor responsible for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with a 24 hour response time. 7. Quote shall be inclusive of all taxes, fees, and a one time delivery and pick-up charge to the customer?s Robins AFB location. Pricing shall be quoted per unit. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Date of contract award through one year (364 days max) FOB: Destination The following clauses are applicable. 52.252-2 -- Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
