Description
Demo fire damaged area of modular unit, to include metal roof cover and sheathing on fire damaged room, fire damaged truss areas, insulation and all ceiling panels (Including approximately 8 ft of panels in adjoining room ? full width and wood panels and any damaged framing in end wall. The existing heating duct work to be replaced in fire damaged room and tie into existing duct work in adjoining room. Replace all damaged truss membranes; provide new exterior CDX plywood sheathing and re-roof with 15 yr modified bitumen roofing system and base sheet. All roof work to include new metal flashings, drip edge and tie-in to existing roofing system as required keeping water tight during and after the construction. Aluminum Coat the new roofing so it blends in with the existing adjacent metal roofing material. Contractor is to work closely with and around any electrical & heating people that will be working on the electrical repairs aspect of the project. Install R-19 Insulation in damaged room; install new ceiling panels in damaged room plus 8 ft of adjoining room. Match as closely as possible the existing panels design, size and pattern. Inspect wall and repair wall framing as needed. Install new wood panels on end wall of damaged room to replace damaged ones and match as closely as possible the existing wood panels. Submit paneling samples for approval. Clean up all construction debris and haul away daily. Contractor shall comply with Job Corps regulations for entering and exiting the premises. Construction time frame will between 7:30 am till 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. All work shall comply with local, state or federal codes. Operator shall inspect all areas of replaced fire damaged material to verify all conditions prior to concealing the area up.
