- Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit, Juneau, Alaska, is seeking expressions of interest for a potential solicitation for as-needed full-service tower engineering, on-site inspection and minor maintenance of communications and LORAN towers ranging from 50 feet tall to 1,350 feet tall throughout the State of Alaska. Capabilities to also include performing structural analysis calculations of existing towers and design of new tower installations including making calculations to place additional equipment onto existing towers. This is not a request for proposals or a request for qualifications statements. This is a request for expressions of interest from those qualified tower engineering firms who would desire to compete for such a project in the near future.
