- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to award a sole-source contract to DNE Technologies, Inc., Wallingford, CT. The contract will deliver 386 each CV-FOM-D modules in support of the AN/MRC- 142C, medium-range, ultra-high frequency (UHF), radio communications program. The modules must be interoperable with legacy CDIM equipment and will be installed in existing Protocol Converter Multi-Channel Units (CV- MCUs). Each CV-FOM-D module shall combine the features of a Conditioned, Di- Phase, Signal-Converting Modem (CDIM) with that of a Fiber Optic Modem (FOM), and provide for conversion to and from Non-Return to Zero (NRZ) protocols. Delivery is required by 5 March 2007. A commercial, firm-fixed-price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220, and the size standard is 750 employees. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
