Description

The Joint Program Manager, Nuclear Biological Chemical (JPM NBC) Contamination Avoidance is requesting information and seeking sources regarding technologies and/or methods for collecting and storing vapor chemical warfare agent (CWA) samples in supp ort of the Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBCRV). Required specifications include, but are not restricted/limited to: Size: Not more than 2.5 cubic ft; not more than 50 lbs. System Power: 5 amps max.; Input Voltage: 28 Vdc. Temperat ure Range: Operating 0?F to 100?F; Storage -60?F to 160?F. This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. Any interested parties must submit all concise information showing a superior understanding of fundamental problems and technology solutions. Interested firms should submit literature/ brochures not exceeding thirty pages describing their technical capabilities (including CWA and environmental ruggedne ss tests to prove efficacy), digital data interface, item design details and operational characteristics, production capacity (monthly sustainable production rate, maximum production rate, and time frame for first and subsequent deliveries, location of man ufacturing facilities, and unit production costs as available/applicable.
