- This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with Chant Engineering Co. Inc, 7 Britain Drive, New Britain, PA 18901-5186, for six (6) sets of Model 9263 V-22 Extended Cargo Rail System. Chant Engineering is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of this cargo rail configuration. This is a commercial item and, as such, will be procured under the authority of FAR Part 13.5. Award is expected January 2007. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all information received by 05 January 07, 1300 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government will not pay for any information received. Facsimile proposals are acceptable.
