- Description
- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to provide Engineering Services for the Investigation of Obsolete part and vanishing vendor issues with NSN 5865-01-176-1236 Gain Control Assembly P/N 435590-1 of the AN/ALQ-161 System. This effort will solve part availability problems. The contractor will consider an increase in the reliability and maintainability of the system during this effort. Period of Performance shall be 18 months after receipt of order (ARO). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to EDO CORPORATION - DEFENSE SYSTEMS, 1500 NEW HORIZONS BLVD., NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY, 11701-1130 (Cage Code 82340 ) under the authority of 6.302.
