- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration Regional Office, Pittsburgh, PA has a requirement for transcription services. This is a 100% set-aside procurement for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 561410 with the small business size standard of $6.5M. Responses from other than small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, supplies and transportation to provide transcription services for the VA Pittsburgh Regional Office. The Department of Veterans Affairs will provide the contractor with audiocassettes or other media for the purpose of verbatim transcription into a format specified by VA. Solicitation will be available on/about 1/05/07 to interested parties through electronic data interchange at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov for downloading free of charge. The offeror is responsible to download all amendments and other documents from this website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is highly recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. Hard copy requests must be submitted in writing to Cheryl Weidner at Contracting (04A1-H), VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. No telephone requests will be accepted. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the website. Contact va.bos.adm@mail.va.gov regarding any problems downloading the solicitation from the website. Solicitation to be issued for bids for Base Year with three Option Years. Proposals will be due on or about 1/22/07 at 3:00 PM in the A&MM Conference Room 373E, Third Floor, Bldg. 4 at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. All qualified responsive/responsible bidders may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency if received timely. Contract is subject to availability of funds.
