- Description
- UNICOR intends to enter into a 5 year firm fixed price requirements type contract for Garbage removal services for FCC Allenwood PA, Ashland KY, Forrest City AR, and Coleman FL. Solicitation number is FN1266-07 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation will be for Garbage removal services for the four (4) UNICOR locations listed above. Each location will have different requirements. These requirements will be stated in detail in the solicitation which will be posted on or about January 9, 2007. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a multiple award basis. The Government anticipates making separate awards for each of the four (4) different UNICOR locations. Bidders shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR Federal Prison Ind., Route 15, 2 Miles N. of Allenwood, Allenwood PA 17810, Attn: Tiffani Balestrini, Contract Specialist if sending UPS or Fedex. If sending offers via United States Postal Service please send to UNICOR Federal Prison Industies, PO Box 1500, White Deer, PA 17887 Attn. Tiffani Balestrini, Contract Specialist. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All bidders must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three (3) references. References must be for same or similar services. All Bidders must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR?s webpage at www.unicor.gov. For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print. For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form. Fax proposals are accepted at 570-547-0371, Attn: Contract Specialist, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. All bidders must acknowledgment all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. Original offers MUST be received within 2 days after closing date and time. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: Adherence to delivery schedule, Past Performance, price. Specific questions regarding this solicitation shall be referred to the Contracting Officer ONLY in writing at tbalestr@central.unicor.gov or by faxing to 570-547-0371. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The solicitation will be available on Fedbizops at www.fbo.gov on or about December 21, 2006. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible bidders may submit a quote which will be considered.
