- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Agencourt Bioscience Corp, Beverly, MA 01915, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to integrate a PlateStack & Bar Code Rearder component to existing Beckman Coulter Biomek FX Automated DNA Sequencer. The following items are included in this component system: 1) 719363 Wash station ALP 96, 1 each; 2) 719357 Standard Single Position ALP, 6 each; 3) 719366 Biomek Device Controller, 1 each; 4) 001112 Plate Stack & Barcode Reader, 2 each; 5) 001113 Plate Stack Integration Kit, 2 each; 6) 001246 CS Automation for 96w Plate Stack, 1 each; 7) 001242 Ampure Automation 96w for Plate Stack, 1 each; 8) 001111 Reagent Birdfeeder Integration, 2 each; 9) 001127 Birdfeeder Bottle, 2 each; 10) 000219 96 Well ring Magnets, 4 each; 11) 00296 Direct Inject Plates, 4 each; 12) 000553 Application Installation and Training; 13) 000136 Cleanseq 5,000 kit, 50ml, 1 each; and 14) 000130 AmPure kit, 60ml, 1 each. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability. Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Contracting Specialist at the address stated above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within 8 days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 8 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Agencourt Biosciences. The NAICS Code/Size is 334516/500EM. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000.
