Description
This procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The planned solicitation release date is January 8, 2007. The Contractor shall provide approximately two thousand, nine hundred forty (2,940) US Army windbreaker jackets as per USPD S- 05-89 and amendments 6 & 7 for the United States Military Academy (USMA). The jackets are for both males and females, officer style, color-black, material-Polyester/wool, with a removable liner. Award consideration will be made only to qualifying vendors whose products are qualified and certified by US Army Natick at the time of award. Contractors are urged to arrange to have the products they propose to offer to USMA tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded this contract. Information pertaining to certification/qualification of products may be obtained from Product Manager-Clothing & Individual Equipment US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command. Contractor must comply with applicable FAR and DFARS clauses to include 252.225-7001 with respect to Buy American Provisions and others commonly known as the Berry Amendment. Manufactured products must be from domestic sources. Note 23, Qualification requirements are mandatory through Natick as per 52.209-1.
