- Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR A RC1 CALORIMETER TO METTLER TOLEDO AUTOCHEM INC. Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Mettler Toldedo Autochem Inc., 7075 Samuel Morse Dr. #100, Columbia, MD 21046. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following: **MIDTEMP REACTOR THERMOSTATING UNIT, DELIVERED TO AIR FORCE RESEARCH LAB, EDWARDS AFB, CA **1. Description of Item: The requirement is for one (1) RC1e Base Unit, MidTemp Version Reactor Thermostating Unit which includes: Control Unit, WINRC Software for Control, Evaluation, and Maintenance, NT Software, Calorimetry under isothermal, adiabatic, and jacket control, Temperature ramping under multiple control modes, Silicon Oil (with antistatic additive), PC connection cable, Cooling water connection, and Operating Instructions. In addition to the main unit, the following components are also required: (a) Dosing Controller, (b) System Installation - RC1***Installation includes setup, performance qualification and initial trail, (c) Packaging and Handling, (d) Pump Dosing Set, (e) Option: Quick Cal for WinRC-NT, (f) Workstation - WIN XP - with LCD - Includes the following (or better): Dell OptiPlex GX280 Mini Tower, Pentium? 4 processor, 520/2.80Ghz, 3Yrs Parts & Labor (Next Business Day), Windows XP Professional,, SP1, NTFS, CD, English, 1GB Non-ECC, 400MHz DDR2, 80GM SATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM), PCIe x, 16,64MB Graphics Card, 3.5 inch 1.44MB Floppy Drive, 48X/32X/48X CD-Rewriteable Drive, 5 PCI Slot, USB, 1 COM, DELL UltraSharp 1703FP, Flat Panel, 17 inch, LCD Monitor, (g) PCI Multiport Card - Allows the connection of 4 RS422 to one PC.
