- This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. The requisition number is F2QF216331A200 issued on December 19, 2006 for commercial items. This requirement is in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation will be issued on the Internet and can be found at the following web site: http://www.fbo.gov/. The following is a Request for Quotation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW FAR Part 13.5. This acquisition will be for a small business. The NAICS code is 333999. The 1st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for (3) FODBOSS Sweeper Assembly and (2) Duplex Hitch Bars. Place of delivery for acceptance and FOB point will be 23 Sweeney Blvd., Langely AFB, VA 23665. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions (SEP 2005), Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items (AUG 2006). The Government will award a purchase order resulting from a responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is in the best interest of the Government. This announcement will close and quotes are due no later than 12:00 PM (EST) 22 December 2006.
