- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, Kansas City, Missouri has a need to send an overflow of Transaction Statements to an external vendor for inserting and mailing. We will need assistance with an estimated 500,000 statements in the month of January 2007 . The vendor shall perform the following: 1)tri-fold a single sheet 8.5? x 11? statement 2)insert the folded statement (address forward) into specialty widow envelope provided by the government 3) seal the envelope 4) prepare for mailing at best presort rate. The presorted postage cost, with no markup, will be included on the order . All statements provided to the vendor for inserting must be successfully mailed, thus any envelopes fouled by the vendor shall be re-accomplished at no additional cost to the government. Terms and conditions in FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders , apply to this acquistion . Proposals must be received by close of business Tuesday, December 26, 2007. E-mail proposal only will be accepted, sharon.dowse@kcc.usda.gov.
