- This is a notice for the intended sole source effort to MOOG, Inc., Seneca Street at Jamison Rd., East Auora, NY 14052-8533, to deliver UnderSea Training Device Spares, DV 21C7A. The parts to be supplied consist of the following: QTY 1, MOTION ACTUATOR Roll, PART NUMBER MAC03106 And QTY 1, MOTION ACTUATOR PITCH, PART Number MAC03105. This contract will be awarded per the authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. MOOG, Inc. is the sole responsible source to have specific electronic/electrical, fit, form, and functional characteristics used with the trainer parts currently in use for device 21C7A, and the Maintenance Manuals used with the trainer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement as prime contractor. The Government will consider any company believing they have the capability of satisfying this requirement, and are invited to provide a technical capability statement. A determination by the Government not to compete the procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. An award shall be issued on or about 10 January 2007 (remaining posted for at least 15 days as per FAR 5.203(a)). This procurement will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
