- DESCRIPTION THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR PLANNNING PURPOSES ONLY ? FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for commercial items supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only a request for potential sources and is not to serve as a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bids, Request for Quote, or Offer. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 The 31st Contracting Squadron, Aviano AB, Italy is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis to determine if there are interested and qualified firms to provide all labor, materials, and transportation to design, purchase, install, test, warranty, and provide PEI telephone interface service support for one year for the following: One (1) 2-position MOTOROLA CENTRACOM ELITE Radio Dispatch Console (OR EQUIVALENT). Equivalent consoles must be able to interface with the current MOTOROLA CENTRACOM GOLD console in place. It must be able to support Aviano?s Astro 25 Trunking System already in place, and must include VESTA SL100 integrated telephony. Equivalent consoles must be able to upgrade the existing MOTOROLA console with the proprietary software and hardware that is required for the upgrade and interface with the Motorola Trunking System and Nortel telephone switch without significant changes to the existing communications infrastructure. If offering alternate consoles, please provide alternative specifications than those provided by the CENTRACOM ELITE Radio Dispatch Console. This is NOT a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract as a result of this notice or to pay for any information received. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, Invitation for Bid, or Offer, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought Synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. The Government does not intend to rank submittals or provide any reply to interested firms.
