Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for parts and repair of its AGFA mini-labs and AGFA film processors with Integra Technologies, Inc., 1707 Hydro Drive, Austin, TX 78278. Integra Technologies shall provide on-site repair service as well as software updates and consumable supplies for AGFA D-2 Minilabs, AGFA FP2000 and FP100 Film processors located Quantico, VA, San Francisco, CA and Atlanta, GA. Proper security clearances are required of all employees of the company providing services to allow entrance into the facility. These clearances shall be currently held by each person. AGFA discontinued its service maintenance program on January 27, 2006. Integra Technologies has taken over the parts distribution and repair services of the AGFA photographic equipment. Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, only one responsible source can provide the requested services. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 9:00 AM, EST, Friday, December 29, 2006, via facsimile to the attention of Ms. Lynda M. Theisen, Contracting Officer, at (703)632-6427 or by e-mail at Lmtheisen@fbiacademy.edu. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. All contractors anticipating award, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database.
