- Solicitation Number, SPM4A6-07-Q-1425, 0012566081, NSN: 9150-00-753-4937, Lubricating Oil, Aircraft Piston Engine. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. This is solicited as Unrestricted and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract under the provisions of FAR 13.5. The purchase request quantity is 506 drums. There will be no option for additional quantities. QPL applies. Unit drum contains 55 gallons. This is a Critical Application Item (CAI). This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAMMS interrogation 08 December 2006. See PID Data for tech data package (TDP) availability information. If table A0648 is cited, the offeror is required to provide complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. The material is in accordance with J1899. Amend NR 00 DTD 08/01/05. Type Number II, SAE 60. MSDS and OSHA Hazardous Warning Label are required. QAP 196 applies. The solicitation does not contain progress payments. This is being solicited with FOB at Destination. The Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination. The required delivery is 47 days ARO. Automated Best Value System applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
