Description
The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Directorate requires technical support services for their effort in providing hazard prediction modeling and simulation training support, operations support, and simulation systems in planning, in support of the protection of the Pentagon and associated facilities against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear attacks and/or disaster. It is critical that that contractor possess the technology to conduct the CBRN modeling, simulation and training requirements and have completed, at a minimum, the following training requirements: Certified - HAZMAT Awareness; Certificate of Completion - Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC 4.0.4) Level 1 Course; Federal Emergency Managements Courses: Basic Incident Command System (ICS) (IS-195), Emergency Operations Center Role in Community Preparedness (IS-275), Introduction to National Incident Management System (NIMS) (IS-700), and Introduction to the National Response Plan (NRP) (IS-800); Sentry Sensor System OEM Training; Centurion Chemical Sensor OEM Training; Anti-Terrorism Level 1 Training; and Registered - Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The Government intends to solicit on a limited competition basis with Camber Corporation, Northrop Grumman Corporation and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) under the authority of FAR 6.302-6, National Security, as the full "disclosure of the agency's needs would compromise the national security." The Government has identified these vendors as the limited number of sources. The period of performance for the proposed action will be for one base year and four option years. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Responses to this notice must be submitted by email to Mr. Scott Syring at scott.syring@peostri.army.mil by 30 December 2006.
