- This modification includes additional information inadvertently omitted from the previous advertisement dated 14 December 2006 for the above project. The US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to award a Commercial Real Estate Information database, better known in the Real Estate community as Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The MLS combines the listings of all available properties that are represented by brokers who are both members of that MLS system and of NAR, (National Association of Realtors). The purpose of the MLS is to enable the efficient distribution of information so that, when a USACE realty specialist is instructed to renew an existing lease or find a new location for an Armed Forces recruiting office, he/she may search the MLS system an d retrieve information about all office/retail properties for lease in a given area or price range. This MLS should contain up-to-date comprehensive database of independently researched real estate information including: 1. Commercial listings. 2. Available Commercial office space. 3. Available Commercial real estate property for lease. 4. Verified comparable lease transactions for office space. 5. Verified comparable lease transactions for retail space. 6. Retail and other commercial property research. 7. Comprehensive tenant information. 8. Real Estate News. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 531210 with a small business size standard of $2.0 million. Solicitation will be posted on or about 19 December 2006. The Request for Quotation must be received by 4:00 P.M. on 28 December 2006. Paper cop ies of this solicitation, if any, will be available or issued. Faxed copies are acceptable. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004. Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be regis tered in the Department of Defense CCR Database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
