- The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) is seeking proposals for providing 161 kV and 69 kV SF6 gas power circuit breakers, and other related equipment to various maintenance facilities throughout Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 423610 and the small business size standard is 100 employees, or if providing a product the offeror does not, itself, manufacture, 500 employees in accordance with FAR 19.102 (f). It is the intent of Southwestern to award an Indefinite-Quantity, Indefinite Delivery type contract for one base year and two option years. The solicitation will be available on or about January 2, 2007 with proposals being due on or about January 21, 2007.
