- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CANCEL THIS SYNOPSIS IN ITS ENTIRETY. THIS IS BEING CANCELED BECAUSE A NEW NON-COMMERCIAL SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND WILL BE POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE:**********************************************************The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Lab (NVSL) in Ames, IA intends to procure Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) chicken eggs for delivery weekly from date of contract award (approximately January 1, 2007) through September 30, 2007. The USDA intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for this effort. This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-07-0008, will be released on or about December 1, 2006 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. This procurement will be a full and open competition. All interested parties may submit offers. NAICS code is 112310.
