- This is a sources sought notice, which constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 9T6AMTIC103 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this sources sought notice. If bidding with a GSA Schedule, the requested items must be on that Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the seller's name or the seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. Information regarding GSA Schedules can be found at www.GSA.gov. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified sellers may submit bids. FOB Destination shall be Fort Buckner Okinawa , AP 96376 The GSA FTS Region 9 requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, 12 Port 100TX (RJ-45) to 100FX (ST) Multichannel media converter Part# AT-MCF112ST-10, 2, EA; LI 002, iConverters SNMP Management Module item code 8000-0 with 2-Unit AC Manageable MiniChassis item code 8230-0, iConverter GX/T, Gigabit Media Converter 10/100/1000T to 1000Lx SC/SM item code 8523-2, 6, EA; LI 003, PC GEM Encryptor Manager release 8.0.1 (for use on a PC) General Dynamics Part# EM-69002-7, 1, EA; LI 004, PC GEM Encryptor Manager release 8.0 Software Maintenance General Dynamics Part# EM/EAM-7, 1, EA; LI 005, Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional , 15, EA; LI 006, Shipping and Freight Charges, 1, EA; For this solicitation, GSA FTS Region 9 intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. GSA FTS Region 9 is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Sellers may not artificially manipulate the price of a transaction on www.FedBid.com by any means. If an item has been discontinued or is end of life, annotate quote referencing as such then quote an equal or better replacement for the item. Government expects new equipment only. No third party and or refurbished products are to be bid. Vendors / sales agents submitting quotes MUST BE registered in ITSS (it-solutions.gsa.gov). Not registering in ITSS by the time of auction closing may cause your quote to be considered Non Responsive. If vendor registration assistance is needed contact 877.243.2889 Option 2. No partial shipments unless specifically authorized at time of award All services and products provided in response to this requirement shall comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d) and the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronics and Information Technical (EIT) Accessibility Standard (36 CFR part 1194). Quote must include statement addressing compliance or noncompliance with Section 508. Failure to comply with the above instructions or terms may result in quote being determined as non-responsive. Agencies may require registration with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) or to receipt of order.
