- NOTE: This notice supersedes AFDW Sources Sought F1ATB16241A200 posted on 1 Dec 2006. This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for the Air Force Surgeon General. The following information is provided to assist the Air Force in conducting Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors for this effort/// The AFDW/A7KM is contemplating a multiple-award contract for these services. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The primary places of performance are Bolling Air Force Base, Washington D.C., Falls Church, Virginia, and San Antonio, Texas. /// All contractor personnel assigned to this effort will be required to have a Secret Security Clearance at the start of period of performance. Contractor personnel assigned to this contract must maintain the required clearance level for the duration of this effort. Specific security requirements will be identified in the DD Form 254, Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification. /// The contractor will be responsible for providing personnel with subject matter expertise in a variety of specialties. /// The Government is looking for a contractor able to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials and supervision to provide Non-Personal advisory and assistance services (A&AS) to the Air Force Surgeon General (AF/SG) to support its staff, customer base, and several projects relating to policy development and resource analysis. The customer base is defined as other Headquarters Air Force (HAF) organizations, Assistant Secretary of Defense (ASD) for Health Affairs (HA) (ASD(HA)) and other activities for which AF/SG has support or oversight responsibilities such as selected Headquarters Air Force 2-letter organizations, Direct Reporting Units (DRUs) and Field Operating Agencies (FOAs). /// The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this Sources Sought Synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. /// A Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued on or about 12 Jan 2007. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals will be on or about 2 Feb 2007. The anticipated contract award date is 15 Mar 2007. /// A DRAFT performance-based work statement (PWS), DRAFT Labor categories and a DRAFT SG8 Task Order are included with this announcement. Sources interested in receiving the RFP should send their questions and comments on the DRAFT PWS and a capabilities statement of no more than three (3) pages in length by 4:30 pm (local) on 21 Dec 2006, via email to lasondia.chaney@bolling.af.mil and eleanor.palmer@bolling.af.mil. Late documents will not be accepted. Only email responses will be considered. The contractor will be responsible for validating the government?s receipt by calling the Contract Specialist.
