- On Dec 4, 2006 a special notice (F8635-02-C-Altlauncher) was posted with the purpose of making industry aware that the 691 ARSS at Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB FL, was intending to issue a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) in the next few weeks requesting proposals for concept studies to address alternate methods for launching the BQM-167, Air Force Subscale Aerial Target (AFSAT). Due to unanticipated issues the government no longer intends to issue a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the above requirement and at this point there is no immediate plan to pursue an alternate method for launching the BQM-167.
